Experienced Marketing Consultant, Senior Marketing Manager and Company Director
I have been working in Senior Marketing roles for over 30 years, more recently as a Consultant .
I have worked with numerous small start-up companies and Plc's where I have found that often the same challenges exist but in different shapes and sizes! I believe in a 'sleeves rolled up' approach; formulating and then delivering robust and efficient marketing strategies.
Whatever the objective: growth strategies, greater marketing effectiveness/better ROI, incremental revenue, increased awareness, new products/new markets, I can assist.
I can work in tandem with existing resources or alone, and always adopt a structured approach via an initial marketing audit and take it from there with as much or as little analysis, strategy, planning, implementation and review as required - whatever it takes.
I always enjoy working with new technologies and am currently involved in all aspects of digital marketing.

I have over 30 years senior marketing experience having worked in a wide variety of B2B and B2C industries. Prior to being a consultant I was Head of Marketing for a New Media Division of Orange and held similar positions for the Press Association and various other corporates in the Computer and Video Game and Toy industries.
I have also owned my own magazine publishing company, digital marketing agency and property development company and I have been successfully running my marketing consultancy now for over 20 years and am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
When not marketing I play an odd game of golf (an accurate description of my game from one of the world's greatest golf coaches I worked with once!), spend as much time as I can with my family, enjoy walking in the Peak District and generally travelling and exploring new places and cultures. I am also a keen non-competitive runner and I can often be found kite flying on the deserted beaches of Northumberland usually with a jumper on!
